Our Head Chef, Kim Wiggins, has been hard at work developing new health-conscious dishes to keep you warm, nourished and energised throughout the coming winter months.

Today, Kim shares the hot, hearty and healthified versions of your favourite dishes and more now available in-store; Fuelling Greatness® and making winter wonderful with every bite!

Commando Wraps (Made To Order)
We have your winter lunching all wrapped up with our delicious Commando Wraps! Developed with Commando Steve they are the perfect combination of protein, gut health and antioxidants. They are made-to-order with a meat or plant version, to enable personalisation. Choose either the Texan BBQ Beef or Mex Beans & Riceⓥ  which both have tasty cheese, spinach, roasted red capsicum, sauerkraut and smoky BBQ sauce. High in protein, they are big on taste and will fuel you for greatness during your day.

Healthier ButterLESS Chicken Curry (Hot Deli)
Our Healthier Butterless Chicken Curry is here for winter and it’s truly a sensational show-stopper. It’s time to enjoy your favourite curry without the guilt! Piping hot and with 30% less fat*, this dish has been lovingly created in the Sumo Kitchen and packs a punch without the extra calories. The secret is we swapped out cream for yoghurt in the sauce (and it tastes amazing!). The dish is then topped with succulent tandoori chicken and served with fresh spinach, brown rice & quinoa and cashew nuts topped with a minted yoghurt dressing to add that extra tang – YUM!

Healthier Carbonara Pasta (Hot Deli)
We have turned your favourite pasta dish on its head so that now you can enjoy a hearty pasta dish on a cold day without the calories or guilt. Our Healthier Carbonara Pasta is made with skim milk and is 70% less fat*– yet still tastes creamy and hearty thanks to the parmesan and smoked bacon. The addition of kale to the base recipe gives you an extra vegetable hit, bringing this tantalising dish to the top of our winter list.

As the weather cools down we turn to foods that warm us up inside, and there is no going past a hearty soup. We are your winter soup destination and have a great range of flavours, which can be paired with a salad and a drink in our combo deals.  Sumo soups include Kale, Quinoa & Vege, Thai Chicken and Hearty Beef & Vegetable.
